I know that many of you will be itching to know what effect some of the Portal Feeder promotional strategies and tools have had. Here are a couple for your to bite into:

Portal Feeder 2 members are always boasting examples on how this has improved their rankings. I am one of them!

Using this process I have seen some great results. One example of success is where I managed to bring a 2-word term that I was ranking on page 2 of Google into the top ten. This is a hugely competitive term that has 1.5 billion pages in the results.

I’m now currently in the number 7 spot and it brings an extra 1000 visitors a month to my site from Google.

And that’s just 1 term!!

The difference from being on page 1 to page 2 is huge and I’m now using more portalfeeder promotional techniques to push myself even higher.

Unfortunately I can’t reveal the niche or the word because I know people will jump all over it.

I wanted to quickly mention how happy I have been with the Portal Feeder support team. Whenever I’ve sent a question into the support team I’ve always received a reply within 24 hours.

In addition to this any questions I have posted in the PortalFeeder forum I’ve always got a quick answer and good advice.

That is the reason why Portal Feeder is, for 99% of the year, closed to the public. They look after their existing members first, rather than adding new ones.

I just thought I’d quickly mention the overwhelming number of helpful videos that you will find within the PortalFeeder site.

The Portal Feeder admin (Jason Potash, Jason Katzenback, Marc Quarles and others) are frequently creating videos, webinars and podcasts discussing beginner and advanced internet marketing, website creation and online business topics.

Almost all the training in PortalFeeder is backed up by videos which guide you through how to use the PF v2.0 software, and how to do a variety of promotional tasks, and things like setting up a blog.

Jason Potash, Jason Katzenback and Marc Quarles often hold regular webinars (video conferences) to chat with the Portal Feeder members, answer questions, offer advice and let people know what is going on.

These can all be downloaded at a later date if you can’t attend the actual webinar.

Unfortunately you probably won’t find me at these webinars as I’m usually to busy to attend.

Here is my main beef with portalfeeder.com – they have all this great training on promoting your site, building your website and solid tools to go with it.

However, they do lack on two things:

• Helping people monetize their site
• Helping people create a quality & useful business

There are lots of different promotional strategies out there, using Squidoo, using social bookmarking sites, article marketing, using sites like MySpace, using videos etc. But these methods are often easy to try, but difficult to master.

Trying to learn and master each of these promotional tactics is extremely difficult. Fortunately portalfeeder.com is packed with advanced training from a variety of Portal Feeder mentors.

If there was anything that attracted me to join Portal Feeder it was the promotional tools that were offered.

I actually got in touch with an existing member before I joined and quizzed them on what the promotional tools that they had available.

I was instantly hooked – and in the past 6 months it has become even better!

The Blog Network

My favorite promotional tool from Portal Feeder 2 had to the ability to build permanent links through the portal feeder blog network.

Many of the Portal Feeder members have become part of the PF blog network and allow other members to submit quality content to their site.

There are nearly 650 blogs in this network!

It is a brilliant way for you to distribute quality content among other related blogs and link back to related and useful pages on your own site.

This is a really natural and Google friendly way to build links to your site and the power of this is huge!

Even better is that the Portal Feeder system makes it possible for you to create a number of posts at once, and make them all unique to avoid any duplicate content issues.

If you have come across Portal Feeder before you will find there is a distinct lack of information on this secret underground elite club. This makes many people wonder if PortalFeeder is actually a scam.

Part of the reason there is so little information or many reviews is because it is much like a secret society. I guess the members in there feel they have quite an advantage over the average online marketer and don’t want everyone else knowing about it.

I am an active member of Portal Feeder and when I was writing this review I had to double check with the PF staff that I wasn’t giving too much away.

I’ve decided to open up and tell the world what Portal Feeder really is. There are things I like, things I don’t like and I will dig deep to find out if PF is right for you.

I honestly think you’ll be surprised by what portalfeeder.com really is – because it is massive.
