If there was anything that attracted me to join Portal Feeder it was the promotional tools that were offered.
I actually got in touch with an existing member before I joined and quizzed them on what the promotional tools that they had available.
I was instantly hooked – and in the past 6 months it has become even better!
Portal Feeder Promotional Power
The Blog Network
My favorite promotional tool from Portal Feeder 2 had to the ability to build permanent links through the portal feeder blog network.
Many of the Portal Feeder members have become part of the PF blog network and allow other members to submit quality content to their site.
There are nearly 650 blogs in this network!
It is a brilliant way for you to distribute quality content among other related blogs and link back to related and useful pages on your own site.
This is a really natural and Google friendly way to build links to your site and the power of this is huge!
Even better is that the Portal Feeder system makes it possible for you to create a number of posts at once, and make them all unique to avoid any duplicate content issues.

Article Sharing
This is similar to the blog network idea but instead of blog posts you have static articles linked from the homepage of other member’s site.
Link Trading System
This allows you to publish links to related sites on your site, in return for related links from other sites. There is minimal reciprocal linking.
I personally don’t use this system as I haven’t seen that many quality sites offering links. However, it is there as an option.
Comment Feeder
A tool that allows you to quickly find related blog posts to comment on.
Commenting on popular blogs is a good way to build small amounts of traffic to your site. Although most blogs implement the nofollow tag, there are some that don’t.
I personally see good results from commenting on blogs every now and then. I usually try to push individual articles and pages and find it pushes that page up a few positions on Google.
Directory Submission Tool
I always submit my site to free directories every time I start a new site. I find this effective at building up a decent number of one way links quite quickly.
Directory submission won’t bring outstanding results. On it’s own it will get a site indexed and bring a small trickle of traffic, but it is very important as part of a wider promotional campaign.
Portal Feeder has a piece of software that will help you get directory submissions done very quickly.
I personally don’t use the tool as I have a long standing relationship with a company that does my submissions manually for a good price and I’m set in my ways.
However, other Portal Feeder members have said it is very good.
PLR Content
Want some extra content for your website? Each month Portal Feeder provides its members a selection of PLR content for them to use on their sites.
Article Announcer Lite
Article submission is something that I have recently added into the mix of my promotional strategies. You write an article (or a few) and submit them to various directories – these articles have a link back to your site.
There’s lots of help on article marketing available within Portal Feeder and you also have access to Article Announcer Lite which will let you submit your articles to a handful of the top article directories.
You can quickly see how you can put together a really powerful and varied promotional campaign here for you site!
RSS Announcer
If your site has an RSS feed (all sites build with Portal Feeder can have this) then you can submit your site to various RSS directories.
These sites will then link back to the posts that you make on your site helping more visitors find your site and bringing you more inbound links.
Awesome Insider Strategies!
If you have any experience with marketing your website you’ll know that often you’ll find little gems of information, or brilliant techniques that can help sky-rocket your site with lots of traffic.
I’ve discussed these in the advanced Portal Feeder training.
